Volunteers are the backbone of The Georgia Sled Hockey Foundation. It is through the hard work and the commitment of our volunteers that help us make it possible to provide the opportunities for these young athletes to experience the game of hockey.
There are several ways that you can get involved and help make a difference in a young person’s life
- Donate to Georgia Sled Hockey Foundation
- Purchase a sled for a child. For $500.00 you can help us purchase as sled for a young athlete.
- Donate usable and safe equipment such as:
- helmets
- gloves
- elbow guards
- shoulder pads
- hockey pants
- shin guards
- socks
- neck guards
Funds donated to the Foundation will go towards the purchase of ice time, equipment, and sleds that are needed for these young athletes to be able to participate in the sport.

- Assist in helping children off the ice
- Become a SledBuddie
- SledBuddies are an important part of the program, they help the athletes on the ice.
